I made these orange mittens from a pattern in a book from my library. I made mine extra long because the pattern was for child sized mittens.

I made this hat from the pattern at the link below. It is a free download through ravelry.com of the pattern that was published in a magazine. I did not use cotton yarn like the pattern says, but my 100% acrylic yarn turned out just fine.
Can Hat Pattern This is a duffel bag and backpack combined. I made this pattern up myself and it is basically a circle starting with ten stitches to a multiple of fifteen stitches when the circle was done. Then I did a round in the back loops and worked up the bag as tall as I wanted in single crochet. After that, I did a round of double crochet for the braided drawstring. I put an edging of reverse single crochet on the top, then made a strap of eight stitches as long as I wanted in single crochet.
